A low energy solution is proposed whereby passive design, with natural ventilation, a high thermal mass and simple controls, mean the centre will be comfortable throughout the year without requiring cooling and with only minimal heating.  It uses such sustainable energy sources as a simple solar thermal system to provides hot water which is engineered so as not to require a pump.
